Tiny Time Tales

Jim of the Garden

Written and directed by Cheryl Govan
Based on an original idea by Alex Shenton
Performed by SJT Youth Theatre

Barrington and Evelyn Marigold are prize-winning gardeners but their large house doesn't have a very big garden. Evelyn grows flowers: great, beautiful, colourful blooms. Barry grows the ugliest ugli-fruit, the nuttiest walnuts, and he grows sunflowers and potatoes together to see if he can make ready-to-eat crisps.

Mrs Fetter and her hundreds of children have a small house but enormous garden - it's the perfect house swap! But at the bottom of their new, over-grown garden Barrington finds a little boy. Has he been left behind? And is that a slimy slug behind his ear?!

Lots of fun adventures as the unusual gang make new discoveries in the garden and, to top that, loads of stuff you didn't know about slugs!
