Classes and Community
The SJT OutReach department work with the community, in the community and for the community. We encourage people to engage with the work of the Stephen Joseph Theatre through work experience, placements, projects, courses and tours of the theatre.
SJT OutReach are committed to offering everyone the opportunity to get involved and participate in one of our creative projects and to develop new skills, make friends and have fun along the way.
We offer all kinds of ways to get involved... You can take a class, get involved in a community project, volunteer to help, pop into our office on Northway for a quick chat to find out what we're up to, or maybe get involved in an OutReach performance!!
We believe that theatre and drama belong to everyone irrespective of age, gender and background.
We believe that it is good for us all to learn new skills and challenge ourselves to participate in creative opportunities.
We believe that getting involved with OutReach can bring you new friends, new opportunities and offer new horizons.
Get involved, be creative and inspired!
