| SJT Creation Studios |

In September 2018 we will be opening out of school ‘life skills’ clubs for young people, using a variety of accessible theatre/art/media techniques. The club is called SJT Creation Studios, is available for 8-11 year olds and is free for young people to take part in. More details are here. We are looking for people to fill various roles to make this happen - see below:

SJT Creation Studios - Volunteer

As a volunteer, you will support the Artist Practitioner in the smooth running of the club, along with pastoral staff and other volunteers. The clubs will cover a range of artistic practices, potentially including drama, dance, music, comedy, singing, mask making and film making. We are looking particularly for people who would like to work on sessions in Whitby and Filey.

SJT Creation Studios - Freelance Artist

We are looking for freelance practitioners to join us in delivering this programme of arts to the young people of our local community. As the freelance artist, you would devise and lead the activities, but would be supported by pastoral and volunteer staff.

The initial closing date for applications has passed, but we are inviting applications for the next round.

SJT Creation Studios - Pastoral Staff

We are looking for freelance pastoral staff to support the Artist Practitioner in the delivery of the sessions, alongside volunteers. We are looking particularly for people who would like to work on sessions in Whitby and Filey.

The initial closing date for applications has passed, but we are inviting applications for the next round.

Young People's Board

The SJT are looking for young people to join our newly established, youth focused, board.
