Morris is a man with a passion. By day he sells rubber valves, but by night he is the Lord of the Dance, leading an unlikely group of friends on the road to the Morris Ring Regional Dance Off.
“I know it sounds daft. But it’s not just about dancing. It’s about history. Culture. Dancing the dances of our ancestors, bringing the dead back to life. Every week we come together. We laugh. We cry. We hold each other’s sticks. Facing the world together.”
A touching new comedy about friendship and Morris dancing, written by Yorkshire-based actor Chris Chilton. Chris’ recent acting work includes Shakespeare’s Rose Theatre, Leeds Playhouse, Manchester Royal Exchange and the RSC.
