Barry Forshaw’s new book, American Noir, concentrates on modern US crime writers, films and TV, and he’s met every current writer from James Patterson to Patricia Cornwell. But he also has stories about the filmmakers and directors of the past he’s talked to, from Lauren Bacall to Alfred Hitchcock!

Three courses of mouth-watering American light bites from EAT ME CAFÉ will be served between Barry’s fascinating tales.
