A twisted, dark story of rejection, religion, lust and death.

Hybrid dance theatre company EDIFICE presents a work of dark theatre with captivating live music performed by Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra. The work is based on the themes and characters of Oscar Wilde’s ‘Salomé’.

This is a sensual, rich dance theatre experience led by choreographer/ dancer duo Carmine De Amicis and Harriet Waghorn. Together they have developed an original and beautiful hybrid of Latin, Ballroom and Contemporary dance. This rich dance vocabulary will be performed by 3 dancers and accompanied by 5 live musicians from Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra.

Includes post-show discussion in the SJT Bar.

'Pulses are racing and bodies heaving in organic, earthy waves– it's an interesting amalgam of styles, from some excellent dancers.'
The Evening Standard

'An inventive and collaborative piece of dance theatre, with incredible talent both on and off stage. Wonderful. I wish I could see it again.'
Film Choreographer Dale Mercer
