After refusing to register his child’s birth, Strawman embarks on a personal and legal battle in order to keep his child. Brave in its ambition it tells some hard to hear truths about the nature of the state we trust and rely on. Ultimately, the freeman-on-the-land movement lost its battle against the state, but hopefully the spirit of lawful rebellion still exists in the pages of this play.
