Forging a sound of unrivalled rage and beauty The Hard Times Orchestra will get your feet tapping and your hearts thumping with songs for the wasted and wounded.

Expect a heady mix of influences from Bessie Smith, via Cab Calloway to Tom Waits.

Jacqui Wicks (Schwa, Gudrun’s Sisters) sings, Richard Ormrod (Schwa, Panjumby, A Dread Supreme) plays lots of useful instruments, and Jonny Flockton (Mik Artistik’s Ego Trip) will sit quietly with in a corner whilst his banjo gently weeps.
