The roaring ’20s, the age of swing jazz: five stowaways set sail on an ocean liner to the USA – the land of opportunity, where dreams come true, rags turn to riches and romance is in the air.

Join us on a toe-tapping journey in this compilation cabaret featuring the infectious music of the period: with songs including Dream a Little Dream of Me, The Way You Look Tonight and Ain’t Misbehavin’, it’s a scorching collection of intoxicating numbers that will warm your heart.

Simon Slater is an award-winning Scarborough-born composer of over 300 original scores for theatre, film, television and radio. As an actor he is a familiar face on TV and has appeared in films and critically-acclaimed theatre productions. As an Artistic Associate of the SJT, he has worked on many recent SJT productions, including The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, The 39 Steps, Build A Rocket, Alice in Wonderland and Treasure Island.
