Read full synopsis:

Wealthy young widow and avid aeronaut Amelia Wren (Felicity Jones) harbours dreams of reaching record heights, determined to push the limit of human aviation. When she meets James Glaisher (Eddie Redmayne), an ambitious scientist committed to making history by furthering study on weather forecasting, the pair decide to embark on a trip of a lifetime – flying higher than anyone has gone before.

Garnering the attention of the country, the unlikely duo takes on the extraordinary quest to the edge of the world, marvelling at the beauty from above.
But as they reach dangerous altitudes, the two explorers face extreme weather and perilous conditions with the voyage revealing more about themselves than either could have imagined.

Set in the 1860s, this exciting drama, based on a true story of adventure and daring, stars Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, The Theory of Everything, Les Miserables), nominee Felicity Jones (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Inferno, Like Crazy), and Phoebe Fox (The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death, Eye in the Sky, Black Mirror). Director Tom Harper (Wild Rose, Peaky Blinders, War and Peace) also picks up co-writing credits.
