For local residents and the thousands who visit the beautiful North Yorkshire coast, the SJT provides year-round entertainment - a vibrant mix of in-house shows (eight a year), quality visiting productions, music, comedy and films - not to mention a celebrated OutReach department working with the community.

The board are now seeking an individual with the vision, skills and experience to make a major contribution to the future success of the theatre, take responsibility for the successful running of the theatre and create an environment in which artistic excellence can flourish.
