Welcome

Now on...

“...that was probably one of the best, the happiest moments of our lives. Only the trouble with those sort of moments is that you seldom ever realise that they are - until they’ve gone.”

It is Laura Stratton’s birthday; her family are gathered for an evening out in the family’s favourite restaurant. The dinner turns out to be a significant moment in all their lives.

Time Of My Life was first produced in Scarborough in 1992 and presented a year later in the West End at the Vaudeville Theatre. This will be its first major revival directed by the author.

Make your voice heard!

My Theatre Matters! is a campaign organised by Equity, The Stage, and the Theatrical Management Association, aimed at supporting local theatres across the UK.

The most immediate serious threat to theatres in the UK is significant cuts in Local Government funding. Local Authorities are under extreme pressure and are being faced with extremely hard choices, but it is imperative that they understand how much their voters value their local theatre.

We are asking you to do two things:

1. Send a postcard to your Council Leader saying how much they value the Council’s investment in their local theatre. We have postcards near the Box Office and by the Restaurant, and they can be downloaded from mytheatrematters.com.

2. Sign up on the My Theatre Matters! campaign website with your email address and postcode so that you can be contacted in the future about issues in your own area, further afield or nationally.

Thank you in advance for your help.
